Users can now see a GIF button beside the Emoji and Sticker buttons when you write a reply on Facebook. Along with this, Facebook has created some 20 GIFs of its own featuring some of “the internet’s most recognizable faces.

Facebook said:
‘Each GIF is a unique and shareable morsel of human expression. They will be available to use by searching #GIFparty when sharing a GIF on Facebook or Messenger or by visiting GIPHY.com/Facebook.’
Facebook also provided some statistics on how people have been using GIFs on Messenger. According to that almost 13 billion GIFs were sent last year. More precisely, people send nearly 25,000 GIFs every minute. Moreover, at New Year’s Day 2017, people send more than 400 million GIF.
In its recent update, Facebook has announced two new features for Facebook Live. Facebook Now Lets Users Live Stream with a Friend. Live Chat With Friends lets you invite friends to a private chat about a public live broadcast. You can invite friends who are already watching or other friends who you think may want to tune in.
