Following last year’s Galaxy Z Fold 5 with the model number SM-F946, the upcoming successor, the Z Fold 6, is said to be identified by the model number SM-F956. Now, rumors suggest that the anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra might carry the model number SM-F958, indicating a potential continuation of Samsung’s foldable lineup.

Samsung often reserves the “8” suffix in model numbers for its “Ultra” variants, as seen in devices like the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which carries the model number SM-S928. While reports about the SM-F958 model number have surfaced, it’s essential to note that the term “Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra” is speculative and not confirmed by Samsung. However, given Samsung’s naming conventions, this leak may hold credibility and could hint at the potential release of an Ultra variant for the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

According to the report, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra could potentially be exclusively available in the South Korean market. While the SM-F958N variant has been identified, which typically denotes a model for the South Korean market, there is no indication of versions for other regions such as Europe and the US being in development at this stage.

However, the report lacks details regarding the specifications of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra. Speculation suggests that Samsung may host its Galaxy Unpacked event in early July this year to unveil several devices. Alongside the rumored Z Fold 6 Ultra, it is anticipated that Samsung will introduce the regular Z Fold 6, the Z Flip 6, and the Galaxy Ring during the event.
