Google Confirms to Fix Pixel 2 Buzzing Noise in an Upcoming Update
The issue was that the users had been reporting hearing a faint “buzzing sound” when the device was placed near their ears during a phone call. This issue is finally being fixed. The company has confirmed that it will release a software update in the coming weeks which eliminates the issue.
According to the Community manager Orrin Hancock if you have been hearing the strange sound on your new handset, surely help will arrive in the coming weeks. He said in a forum:
“Hey all, We’re rolling out a software update in the coming weeks which eliminates a faint buzzing sound on some Pixel 2 devices when the phone is placed to your ear during a phone call.”
It had been high time that Google fixed the issues raised by its customers. Since Google’s newest flagship smartphones had been hit by multiple issue complaints in such a short period of time. But if we look at it’s positive side this is a message, rather an affirmation from the Google that it has been listening and addressing as many issues as possible through software updates.
