Google Confirms to Launch Pixel Phones on October 4th

As we have been listening about the release of Google’s upcoming smartphones on October 4. But it was not confirmed. However, Now Google officially unveiled the launch date of its Pixel devices. Google Confirms to Launch Pixel Phones on October 4th. Google revealed the launch date with a very cryptic teaser video. The launch event will begin at 9AM Pacific Time on October 4^th.

As the video does not tell much. However, it shows how Google search bar transformed into a smartphone shape. And also it shows the release date which is October 4, 2016.

As per the features are concerned, the regular Pixel phone is rumored to have a 5.2-inch Full HD display, powered by Snapdragon 820. The Pixel XL will be a more premium phone with a metal frame and a 5.5-inch Quad HD display. It is said to be coming with either a revised version of the Snapdragon 820 chipset or Snapdragon 821. In terms of the camera department, both devices should feature an identical 12-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel selfie-shooter.

The only difference between these two phones is Pixel XL’s larger screen and battery. The pricing detail yet has not been revealed.
