Honor V20 Debuts With Kirin 980 SoC & 48MP Camera

Huawei’s Subsidiary, Honor finally launched their smartphone Honor View 20 (Honor V20) in China today. However, the global launch of the smartphone will be held at an event in Paris, France on January 22.

Honor V20, the company’s latest flagship phone features a 6.4” LCD of 1080p resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.25:9. The handset is powered by Kirin 980 chipset. Furthermore, it is coupled with either 6 GB RAM or 8 GB RAM. The phone will be available in two storage options that are 128 GB and 256 GB. As the phone features an LCD panel so, there is no UD fingerprint scanner. However, it sports the conventional one at the back.

In addition to all this, the phone comes with a display punch-hole selfie camera of 25MP. Moreover, there is a 48 MP Sony IMX586 rear shooter that’s accompanied by a 3D ToF sensor at the back. The 48 MP snapper is quite huge in size. It is almost 1/2-inch CMOS sensor (0.8 µm/pixel) with Quad-Bayer array that allows pixel binning for HDR 12 MP night shots. Furthermore, the Honor V20 sports a cool gradient rear panel with a V that changes colors as the viewing angle changes.

Honor V20 Battery capacity is 4,000 mAh. Furthermore, it comes with the 22.5W SuperCharge support. It is expected to fill the power cell up to 55% in 30 minutes or to the top for an hour. Honor View 20 color options include Red, Blue, and Black. The Honor V20 Price for the 6/128 GB variant is set to be CNY 2,999 (60,486 PKR). On the other hand, its price for the 8/128 GB option is CNY 3,499 (70,571 PKR). Moreover, the Moschino variant will come with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage and it will cost CNY 3,999 (80,655 PKR). Honor V20 Sales in China will begin on December 28. However, the global availability and pricing will be revealed on January 22.
