Although HTC is facing a continuous fall in its financial results, still some reports claim that the company is working on a new smartphone. According to the latest reports, HTC Upcoming Smartphone will be Powered by Snapdragon 435.

Will HTC Upcoming Smartphone Help to Improve the Company’s Revenue?

The HTC upcoming smartphone appeared on a new Bluetooth SIG listing. The listing revealed the name of the device, HTC 2Q72XXX. Moreover, the phone will support Bluetooth 4.2 alongside Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 435.

HTC is struggling financially, but this does not stop the company from looking into new avenues for growth. One interesting direction is that the company has introduced on the blockchain-enabled smartphone called Exodus.

According to the recent financial report of HTC, TWD 6.8 billion ($220.6 million) in revenue, which is 58% down compared to last year’s Q2. The quarterly net loss is TWD2.09 billion ($67.8 million). HTC’s founder and chairman Wang Xuehong recently said that HTC will likely focus more on the AR/VR market.
