Huawei Mate 20 Lite will be Powered by Kirin 710 Chipset
Previously it was said that Huawei Mate 20 Series will be powered by Kirin 980. However, now the latest listing revealed that the Lite version of Mate 20 will not be powered by Kirin 980. According to Geekbench and TENAA, Huawei Mate 20 Lite will be powered by Kirin 970 chipset.
Richard Yu, the CEO of Huawei, has confirmed that the Mate 20 series will be powered by the Kirin 980. But om contrary, Huawei Mate 20 Lite will come with Kirin 710. It means what Richard Yu has said about the Mate 20 Series will not be true for Huawei Mate 20 Lite.

Geekbench Listing revealed 4GB of RAM while TENAA showed 6GB. This is probably due to multiple versions existing. Moreover, Huawei Mate 20 Lite might have two versions – one with a fingerprint reader under the display and one with a traditional reader.
Mate 20 Lite will have a huge 6.3-inch LCD display with at least 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution. Hardware-wise, the Mate 20 Lite will pack a 2.2GHz octa-core Kirin 710 processor, 4GB/6GB RAM, and 64GB internal storage.
Mate 20 Lite will have four cameras– two in the front and two on the back side. The dual rear camera will feature a 20MP and a 2MP cameras. While in the front, there’s a 24MP snapper and another 2MP camera for depth effects. Mate 20 Lite will run on Android 8.0 Oreo and is powered by a 3,650 mAh battery.
