Microsoft Cortana App for iOS and Android will be Shut Down on January 31

There is bad news for Microsoft Cortana app users that the app is going to shut down on Android and iOS as of January 31 next year. The company has announced it by posts in the support forums in the UK, Canada, and Australia websites. However, there are no words about other markets. But it is obvious that it will be shut down globally.

For those who don’t know about this app is that it was a free smart digital assistant. The app supported you by giving you reminders, keeping your notes and lists. It also takes care of tasks and helping manage your calendar. Moreover, it also helped users by making calls and send texts.

The company has revealed that the content you’ve created within the app will continue. However, you can access it through Cortana on Windows. Moreover, the Microsoft To-Do app will let you access reminders lists and tasks. also, the  Cortana app will be integrated into the Microsoft 365 apps. Previously, Microsoft Office Mobile Apps had ended Support for Older Android Devices.
