Nokia 5 and 6 Soon to Get Android 8.0 Oreo Beta Builds

With a recent come up in the smartphone industry under the new parent company HMD Global, Nokia is really trying hard to establish a good foot-mark by introducing innovation features for its users. Nokia is now all set to introduce Android 8.0 Oreo beta builds for its latest handsets Nokia 5 and 6. Nokia 5 and 6 Soon to Get Android 8.0 Oreo Beta Builds. HMD’s Juho Sarvikas announced about this new development of the company following the arrival of the latest update for “Nokia 8” will be made official for the company’s other phones soon.

The arrival of the beta builds currently suggests that both the affordable Nokia smartphones would now receive their stable “Android Oreo” updates very soon.

Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer of HMD Global, on Friday said that:

“The release of Android Oreo beta builds in response to a user query on Twitter. “Yes, Nokia 6 and Nokia 5 next. Just reviewed today, we will open Beta Labs for those models soon.”

Back in October, 2017 HMD Global released the “Android Oreo” beta testing build for its “Nokia 8” smartphone and just in last week they officially released the public version. Hence, it is expected that Nokia will follow the same pattern and may launch it officially for Nokia 5 and 6 within a week.

Nokia 6 is 4G enabled device with the octa-core processor of 1.4 GHz while the internal memory is 32GB and RAM is 3GB. The camera section has 16MP back camera lens and 8MP front camera lens. It runs android version 7.0 (Nougat) with the native interface. The power house has a battery of 3000 mAh and it is dual SIM supported device

Whereas, Nokia 5 has also many great features such as 5.2 inches’ IPS LCD screen whereas it supports 4G,3G network also. It runs Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) with the super fast chip set of Qualcomm Furthermore Octa-core processor is packed in it.

Further, Nokia 5 has 16GB ROM and 2GB RAM while camera section has 13MP back camera lens and 8MP front camera lens.
