Nokia Returns to Smartphones

Nokia was recently bought by Microsoft. Ever since then Nokia was making windows phone. In this era of android Nokia didn’t compete with them well. The famous Nokia market was declining since then but now they have taken a step to make their comeback in the market with a bang. Nokia has recently announced the Nokia  Returns to Smartphones.

Nokia makes their comeback as it announces Nokia  Returns to Smartphones

Nokia’s CEO Rajeev Suri seems confident about announcement of Nokia to be a smartphone again, he says that:

The firm is looking at a return to the mobile phone business. We will look for suitable partners. Microsoft makes mobile phones. We would simply design them and then make the brand name available to license.

Nokia by an agreement is restricted to make phones till 2016, but after that Nokia seems quite confident.Recently, Nokia in collaboration with Foxconn sold a tablet called the N1, which runs Android, giving slightest of indication of its return to the Smartphone platform.

The firm is planning to sell its hardware by its name further along with the making of Smartphones in the phone industry.

New to return to phones with android came just after the day when Microsoft revealed that former Nokia CEO Stephen Elop is leaving the firm. Microsoft appears to be clearing out legacy Nokia elements, and the company is merging its devices and Windows divisions under one business unit.

It seems that Nokia will make its comeback in the market and this will be a huge success for Nokia and the android market as well. because android is leading the market at the moment and it seems that all mobile phone companies are having agreements to carry their work further with android. Same footsteps are being followed by Nokia as well. But the question whether it will be a successful venture for Nokia or not still remains there.
