Nokia to Launch New Smartphone and Tablets in Late 2016. A total of 3 to 4 Nokia mobile devices will be unveiled at the end of this year. The confirmation is made by Mike Wang, president of the joint management team at Nokia China.

Nokia expects to make an announcement about these devices before the end of 2016. while the actual launch could be pushed back into early 2017. The actual launch of these smartphones and tablets is depending on testing and development.

The best rumor is that the phones will have 5.2-inch and 5.5-inch Quad HD, OLED displays, a Snapdragon 820 SOC, 22.6 MP back camera, and a metal build with water and dust resistance. However no other detail is leaked about tablet. More Surprisingly both phones will get latest Android update Nougat 7.0.

Both handsets will be marketed as high-end or premium devices which will come with metallic designs. The smartphones are also believed to be water- and dust-resistant with IP68 certification. It means handsets won’t be damaged if immersed under three feet of water for up to 30 minutes.
