QMobile Evok Power Lite Review – Rs.10,500/-

QMobile Evok Power Lite has a big battery of 4800 mAh with the processor of 1.3 GHz quad core. It runs upgraded version of android 7.0 (Nougat) moreover camera section has 8MP primary camera lens on the rear with LED flash whereas secondary shooter has 2MP lens. Memory is 8GB ROM and 1GB RAM. It is 3G enabled device.

 Memory of QMobile Evok Power Lite:

When it comes to the memory you will find that  very low, because it has only 8GB ROM and 1GB RAM. Which is not sufficient for videos and application downloading, but the phone supports Micro SD Card, which is use to multiply the memory of the device. So the memory can be expanded up to 64GB with the access of Micro SD Card.

1GB RAM is very low but as this is entry level device so we cannot expect any big feature in it.

Battery of QMobile Evok Power Lite:

Power house of QMobile Evok Power Lite has outstanding battery of 4200 mAh li-poly, which is removable and placed inside the removable back cover. It will give sixteen stand by hours of usage and eight to nine hours of talk time. 0.3 Amp of charger will charge the battery completely in three to four hours.

Interface of QMobile Evok Power Lite:

QMoblie Evok Power Lite comes with 5.5 inches screen, it runs the version of android 7.0 (Nougat) which is the plus point of this device.

When you look at the lock screen, you will find connectivity notifications at the top. Time and date widgets are displayed at the center of the lock screen. Notification of remaining battery percentage is present at the down side of the lock screen. To unlock the screen, swipe upside.

When it comes to main screen, there is google search bar at the top of the screen. Below the google search bar there is time and date widget with weather updates. Applications are arranged in form of rows and columns. QMobile Evok Power Lite has application manager, in order to access your desired applications you have to give a soft touch on it. you will also find applications search bar in application manager

There are some bloatware applications such as backup and restore, duo, sim toolkit, UC browser and QApp Store etc. Facebook, WhatsApp and Chrome are already installed to make your life easy.

Design of QMobile Evok Power Lite:

QMobile Evok Power Lite looks very simple and has a touch screen with dimensions 154.3×77.3×8.6mm and weight are 186g. Screen to body ratio is 70%, which is perfect as compared to other smartphones.

The front body has 5.5 inches screen with a front camera and ear piece at the top side. There is no bazel layer outside the screen.

On the top edge, there is an audio jacket and USB port of 2.0v. Volume keys and power button are at the right edge while there is nothing on the left edge and bottom edge.

Back of QMobile Evok Power Lite has primary camera lens with LED flash light at the top. Logo of QMobile is marked at the center. You will find speaker grill at the bottom of the back body which is boldly placed there.

Display of QMobile Evok Power Lite:

Supportive resolutions of QMobile Evok Power Lite is 720×1280 pixels. For the visibility of Icons and texts, the density for the screen is 320dpi.  It supports graphic card of Mali-400MP, which very average. Multi touch is below average because it has scored only two points in it.

Back Camera of QMobile Evok Power Lite:

QMobile Evok Power Lite has 8MP back camera with flash light.  Video record quality is 1020p. The main features of the back camera are panorama and face beauty.

We have tested the back camera image result, the results we got are so average. Colors are dull and we have noticed some noise when we zoom in the image.

Front Camera of QMobile Evok Power Lite:

QMobile Evok Power Lite has a 2MP front camera with no flash light moreover it can record the video in 720p quality. The main feature of the front camera is facing beauty.

After testing the front camera image result we found that results were so average moreover colors are dull. When we zoom in the image, we have also noticed some noise in it.

Network connectivity of QMobile Evok Power Lite:

QMobile Evok Power Lite is 3G enabled device. It provides Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and FM radio. Wi-Fi has b/n/g standards. The version of Bluetooth is 4.0v. There is dual sim option availability with two separate sim slots and one memory card slot inside the removable back cover.

Antutu Benchmarking of QMobile Evok Power Lite:

We have tested Antutu Benchmarking and it has scored 23214. It has below average multi touch because it has scored only two points in it, which is below average.

Vellamo Benchmarking of QMobile Evok Power Lite:

We have conducted vellamo benchmarking in QMobile Evok Power Lite, multicore has scored 1103, metal has scored 770 and chrome browser has scored 1440.

Processor of QMobile Evok Power Lite:

QMobile Evok Power Lite is powered by 1.3 Quad Core GHz with a chipset of MT6580. It cannot supports hardware-assisted virtualization but has dynamic frequency scaling.  It has a processor of 32 bit with 1GB RAM, which is not satisfactory.

Conclusion:

QMobile Evok Power Lite could not impress us because it has low memory with very average touch support. The camera is also very average as it is entry level phone so we cannot expect a camera with high resolutions in it. But the good thing about QMobile Evok Lite is its outstanding battery. It is 3G enabled device with 1GB RAM, which makes it satisfactory entry level device.
