Samsung has updated its Galaxy Note 8 with new features. However the most important feature in this new update is the inclusion of secure Wi-Fi service. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 got Secure WiFi VPN Service in New Software Update.

Secure Wi-Fi is a Samsung’s VPN service that allows you to securely browse on public Wi-Fi network by encrypting the internet traffic. It also prevents Apps and websites from tracking your usage.

Secure Wi-Fi is not an App that you can download from Playstore. It is added in actual software so one can only get it via software update from Samsung. It means not all Galaxy Note 8 has secure Wi-Fi. Only the international unlocked Galaxy Note 8 has VPN services in them.

How to Activate Secure VPN Service on Samsung Galaxy Note 8

If you are one of those lucky people who get update, then follow the following steps:

  • visit settings
  • Go to connections
  • Click on Wi-Fi
  • Go to Advanced
  • Enable Secure Wi-Fi

After all these steps you will go through a setup process. However if you are unlucky and don’t meet the criteria you can opt for other options in Play store. VPN options in Play Store includes Express VPN etc.
