Snapdragon X Elite Benchmark Leak Unveils Qualcomm’s Acheivement
Snapdragon X Elite Outperforms AMD, Intel CPUs in Geekbench 6 Benchmark
The potential for Windows gaming on ARM is increasingly feasible, thanks not only to recent emulation advancements but also to the impressive performance of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite processor. Recent benchmark tests have showcased the CPU outperforming some of the top processors currently available on the market. This development raises the question: are we reaching a stage where consumers will have more viable options beyond just Intel and AMD for their computing needs?
The Twitter user shared the benchmarks. It reveals highly promising results for the upcoming Qualcomm processor. Conducted on Geekbench 6, while it’s essential to interpret these findings judiciously, the performance exhibited is commendable, hinting at a bright future for thin and light laptops featuring this chipset.

In multi-core workloads, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite maintains a significant lead against the Core i9-13900H, the Core i7-13700HX, and the Ryzen 9 8945HS, outperforming them by 25.7%, 18.4%, and 18.3%, respectively, as per comparisons compiled by Tom’s Hardware. However, the lead narrows down in single-core performance, where the difference remains in the low single digits.
When compared to newer chips like Intel’s high-end Core i9-14900HX, there is indeed a gap, which is expected given the newer architecture. The Core i9-14900HX boasts an average Geekbench 6 score of 2,809 in single-core and 16,525 in multi-core, making it approximately 13.5% faster in single-core and 15.9% faster in multi-core performance compared to the Snapdragon X Elite.
