Pakistani newscasters usually find it difficult to pronounce Urdu,ย thanks to the private schools who do notย give much attention to Pakistanโ€™s national language: Urdu. Mostly, the linguistic blunders go unnoticed but at times they are so funny that one cannot simply ignore them. Just recently we came across to This Hilarious Mispronunciation of Kitabcha as Kutta Bacha by Geo Anchor.

I agree, we are humans and can make plenty of mistakes but an Urdu anchor mispronouncingย a common word and repeating it again in a live telecast cannot be counted as a mistake.

A video of Geo News Ancor is floating on social media, in which anchor pronouncedย a wordย Kitabacha (booklet or brochure) as โ€œKutta Bachaโ€ (son of a dog).

It was tragic and funny at the same time andย wasย shared so many times on social media that everyone has to notice the blunder made by the anchor. The funniest thing is that it was not justย a slip of tongue as theย anchor repeatedย โ€œKutta Bachaโ€ twice.

The newscaster was reporting thatย the defenceย ministry has suppliedย Britishย soldiers with a pamphlet that is digital provide understanding among them so the ratio of committing suicide might be reduced. Nonetheless, the pronunciation associated with the newscaster made this serious new, the most hilarious ever.ย  We might perhaps not call it โ€œa slip ofย the tongueโ€ whilst the newscaster repeated it twice.
