TikTok to Surpass Facebook in Influencer Marketing

TikTok has spent the last four years catching up in the influencer marketing industry because it didn’t fully launch in the West until 2018. Despite its prominence as a cultural center, it has not demanded the same level of spending as its competitors – until now. Advertisers spent $774.8 million on TikTok influencer marketing in the United States this year, according to sources. That’s a higher figure than Facebook generated, and it’s getting close to YouTube’s share of the pie.

However, although Instagram is outperforming TikTok in this category, Meta’s other program, Facebook, is not doing very well.
