Uber Rides Now 30% Cheaper In Lahore

Uber one of the biggest online taxi app service in the world, reduces the prices of Uber by 30% in Lahore. Uber being the famous taxi app service started its services in Lahore in March 2016 and though celebrating 6 months of providing affordable, reliable and safe travelling to the customers and further reduces its prices.

Uber wants to be the most affordable option for its customers available at the push of a button. The comparison between the old rates and new rates can been seen below.

New Rates for per Km: Rs. 6.84

Old Rates for per Km: Rs. 13.7

New Rates for per Minute: Rs. 3.15

Old Rates for per Minute: Rs. 3.70

New Base Fare: Rs. 100

Old Base Fare: Rs. 100

So from the above details we can clear;y see a drastic price change in the per km rate while they have slightly reduced the rate of per minute charging. Where as there is no change in the base fare rate, while the minimum fare and the cancellation charges are also the same i.e Rs. 150 respectively.

Now lets, do a comparison of total fare for a journey. So if you are travelling from MM Alam Road to LUMS, previous total fare for this journey was Rs. 320 and the new total fare for the same journey is Rs. 230. So from the difference between old and new total fares, a reduction of 30% can be easily seen.

Recently, Uber also started its services in Karachi and offered free rides till 28th August, 2016. After Karachi, Uber has plans to step into Islamabad and provide safe and reliable rides to the people of Islamabad.
