Xiaomi appears to be gearing up for the launch of a new smartphone series dubbed the Xiaomi 14T, according to recent rumors. This lineup is anticipated to comprise two models: the standard Xiaomi 14T and a more advanced variant, the Xiaomi 14T Pro. Intriguing insights regarding these devices surfaced from Xiaomi’s HyperOS code, as discovered by Android Headlines. Notably, indications suggest that the Xiaomi 14T Pro could represent a slightly enhanced iteration of the speculated Redmi K70 Ultra.

Xiaomi 14T Pro To Feature Dimensity 9300

Despite sharing a common code name (“Rothko”) and model number (“N12”), indicating potential similarities, reports indicate that the Xiaomi 14T Pro could offer enhancements compared to the Redmi K70 Ultra. Notably, purported features such as wireless charging and a telephoto camera equipped with Leica lenses are expected to distinguish the Xiaomi 14T Pro from its counterpart, the Redmi K70 Ultra.

Additionally, reports suggest that the 14T Pro will be equipped with the Dimensity 9300 processor. It is anticipated to debut on the global market under the model numbers “2407FPN8EG” and “2407FPN8ER,” catering to diverse regions. However, indications from the report suggest that a launch in India may not be on the horizon.

The standard 14T, reportedly codenamed “Degas,” is set to have a global presence with model numbers “2406APNFAG” and “XIG06.” Like its Pro counterpart, it’s anticipated to be absent from the Indian market. While specific details about the processor are yet to be confirmed, there are speculations that it could retain the Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset from its predecessor, the Xiaomi 13T.

The Xiaomi T series usually distinguishes between the standard and Pro models primarily based on the processor, while other features such as cameras and battery capacities remain similar. This trend is expected to continue with the 14T series. As for the Redmi K70 Ultra, it is anticipated to debut in China in August. Following this timeline, it’s reasonable to expect the global launch of the 14T series to follow suit in September.
