Experience the Future: Meta’s Horizon Worlds is being Rolled out for Mobile and Web

There is good news for all those who don’t have a VR headset but want to play the Horizon Worlds, a famous game developed by Meta. After working for more than 1.5 years, Meta is bringing Horizon Worlds out of the headset. According to Meta, it has begun rolling out Horizon Worlds for some users on the web and mobile in early access.

Definitely, the expansion of the game to mobile and the web would surely amplify its user base. However, if the users don’t find the platform enjoyable, then it won’t matter how many different platforms it can be played on. Moreover, we would like to mention that Meta has never published any user numbers for the VR version of Horizon Worlds, however, a few sources suggest that the platform hasn’t got a very large user base.

During the gameplay, players represent their virtual avatar and are able to play games and hang out in “worlds,” which are created either by Meta or by users themselves. One another exciting feature of the game is that users can make items to sell, however, Meta takes a whopping 47.5% cut of sales.

Earlier in 2023, Horizon Worlds access was granted to teenage users, a decision that Senators Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) and Ed Markey (D-MA) criticized.
