No doubt, our planet earth is our home and it has many attractions that make us celebrate a separate day for it: Earth Day. The largest search engine, Google has always celebrated such days and has the habit of giving tributes with a special Doodle. This time Google takes you to a new height when you click on Earth Day 2019 Google Doodle. It shows the animals and pretty plants which are part of this planet.

While telling about the latest Doodle, Google said in a statement that:

“This year’s annual Earth Day Doodle takes us around the planet we call home to discover some of the awe-inspiring organisms which inhabit it. Specifically, the interactive slideshow Doodle explores six organisms across elevations—along with their earthly superlative

The doodle also zooms past the Paedophryne amauensis, the smallest frog and vertebrate, as well as the Amazon water lily, one of the biggest aquatic plants in the world.

Google has played its role in making people aware of the importance of Earthday. Now it’s our turn to follow some important steps and play our parts.

1. Walk to work, cycle or take public transport
2. Use a reusable coffee cup
3. Make sure you recycle
4. Go paperless
5. Take a tote bag to the shop
6. Plant a tree
7. Go meat or dairy free at least once a week
8. Carry a reusable water bottle
