Google Maps Local Guide Feature will now show Recommendations

Google Maps keep on adding new features to facilitate its users. Just a week back, it announced that soon it is going to launch a feature that will help people know about the startups and other enterprises on their way. In this way, more people will be recognizing the businesses in those areas, in return helping companies flourish. Furthermore, it will help the tourist to know what services they can get on their way to the destination. Today, we have come across another useful feature that provides Maps users with certain recommendations on their way via Google Maps Local Guide Feature.

Google Maps Local Guide Feature for Recommendations Rolls out in nine Countries

Right now the company has rolled out the test process in almost nine cities and when it will be done with all the testing, it will expand this feature to other markets as well. The feature will be available in Bangkok, Delhi, London, Mexico City, New York, Osaka, San Francisco, Sao Paolo, and Tokyo as a part of a test drive. The reason for choosing a local guide to provide people with certain recommendations is justified as local guides are available in 24,000 cities and towns.

This local guide feature will be found in the “For You” tab of the Google Maps App. If you are planning to visit one of the cities mentioned above, Google Maps will recommend you the best places to visit. The people who belong to these cities can avail this offer by updating their app from both Android and iOS.
