A 25 year old, Saudi programmer Zainalabdin Tawfiq launched honesty app Sarahah. Even he wouldn’t be ready for such wide popularity of his newly launched App Sarahah.

The Anonymous messaging tool Sarahah has topped the charts for App downloads. This is even evident through other social media platforms where people share screenshots of the anonymous messages received.

Tawfiq said:

“Sarahah is the digital equivalent of an old-school suggestion box. It is built on the premise that stripping users of their identity promotes ruthless honesty. Feedback is the goal — anonymous feedback.”

Sarahah has drawn 85 million registered users and is on the top of Apple app store in some countries. Out of utter surprise, it has over passed Snapchat and Instagram.

This widely used platform is enjoyable and can positivelly transforms ones personality if they act upon the requests in their messages. However it has some disadvantages too. The extensively used App Sarahah has a negative side too as it is used as a cyber bullying. This problem is also faced by other social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Sarhaha has also created an alarming situation for many parents. Many experts have asked parents to discourage their Kids to use this App. Well apart fro this a huge round off applause for a young programmer who launched it.

    It has more disadvantages than advantages. We should discourage anonymity among kids unless they become adults. I hope its not the case like flappy bird where clickfarms worked well to bring that app in top
