iPhone 16 Series Leaks Reveal Design Changes & More

Recently, on social media platform X, a tipster named Sonny Dickson shared leaked metal dummies for the iPhone 16 series. These dummies are generally used as references by accessory manufacturers to design their products. The Silicon Valley giant’s upcoming iPhone 16 series is rumored to get some design changes this year. While many of these alterations have already been leaked, this new report shows all the design changes in a single image.

As you can see, the dummy models provide valuable insights, especially regarding their sizes. The iPhone 16 and 16 Pro show similar dimensions, with the iPhone 16 Plus variant positioned in between, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max, as expected, is the biggest variant.

These new leaks appear to be in line with an earlier report indicating that the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will arrive with a screen size of 6.27 inches and 6.85 inches, respectively. It’s a notable increase in comparison to their predecessors, which had screen sizes of 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches, respectively. The leaks also suggest that there will be slimmer bezels in the new models.

Moreover, it is also speculated that the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will maintain their current screen sizes of 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches, respectively. Therefore, the iPhone 16 Pro dummy may marginally surpass the standard iPhone 16 in size.

In addition, the rumors also suggest that the Action Button from the Pro phones is coming to all iPhones on the left side, while the new Capture button for the camera will be present on the right edge of the phone. The Capture Button is set to include a capacitive surface, enabling users to use swiping gestures for zooming.

However, it’s intriguing that the button occupies the exact location of the mmWave antenna found on current-generation US models.
