NAB Lahore Introduced it’s Website ‘Character Building Societies’

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore recently celebrated International Anti-Corruption Day. The event was chaired by Governor Punjab, whereas Ali hosted the propitious event. Dr Mussadiq Malik, Uxi Mufti and Bilal Sufi contributed in the event as guest speakers along with DG NAB Syed Burhan . During the event National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore launched the website ‘Character Building Societies’ developed solely by Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB).

The conjoint aim of ‘Character Building Societies,’ an initiative of NAB Lahore, is to support, elevate the confidence and boost the abilities of students at different levels. NAB, under the platform of Character Building Societies (CBS), organizes competitions on various topics and themes associated to NAB’s instruction. The ultimate goal of the CBS is to make a strong environment for the social iniquities like bribery, nepotism, favoritism, cheating and fraud by building an overall approach which has zero tolerance against these crimes.

Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) is the technology arm of Punjab Government to develop and implement consequential strategies and to enable the Punjab Province achieve its ICT potential. PITB is committed to effectively and efficiently provide IT services and infrastructure to the government and local and international businesses. NAB in collaboration with PITB developed the website CBS which will be really beneficial for students.

Technological advancements are on its way in Pakistan. If this pace continues, soon our country will enter into more advanced countries list in the region. m-Education, m-Health, m-Governance are such examples where PITB is already working and has introduced many developments to help the general public.
