Now Synchronize your Instagram Contacts with Facebook Messenger

Facebook wants you to get more contacts on the messenger contact list with the help of Instagram. The social media giant, Facebook has launched a feature in Messenger that allows you to pull in your contacts from Instagram only if you decide to connect your account. Now Syncronizing Instagram Contacts with Facebook Messenger is possible and it will increase your contact list.

This option appears in Messenger’s “People” tab with an option to synchronize your phone’s contact with the messenger.

Instagram Contacts with Facebook Messenger- Here’s how to Syncronize them

The option appears in Messenger’s “People” tab, alongside the existing option to sync your phone’s contacts with Messenger. This feature was found by Jane Manchun Wong:

When you tap on “Connect Instagram,” Messenger adds contacts from Instagram automatically. Your Instagram username and account will also become visible to other people on Messenger.

However, this feature is not welcomed by many. Many tech-savvy argued that clicking “Connect Instagram” will let messenger automatically add your contacts to the messenger. There should be a choice given to the user that whether they want to add them or not.

Facebook seems to be encashing on Instagram’s popularity as well. It had even pulled in Instagram Stories on Facebook.
