OnePlus 5T Ranked First in the Category of Fastest Charging Smartphones

OnePlus 5T is again in the hot news. Fast charging has become one of the top features for recent smartphone flagships and the OnePlus 5T became the fastest charging smartphone. These days most of the premium Android phones offer some form of quick charging through their USB-C adapters. OnePlus 5T Ranked First in the Category of Fastest Charging Smartphones.

The testing was done by Toms Guide for all the devices, using included fast charging accessories with the OnePlus 5T, LG V30, Google Pixel 2, and Galaxy Note 8. The tests recorded the battery life of each phone after 30 minutes and 60 minutes of charging. The devices were turned on but the screens were off, and they started with 0 percent battery.

For the first round of testing in 30 minutes of charge time, the OnePlus 5T led the pack, reaching 59 percent in half an hour. The next best phone was the LG V30 at 53 percent. The iPhone X, iPhone 8, and iPhone X were close behind with 50 percent, 49 percent, and 47 percent, respectively.  With the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X, both the standard AC plug were used and the fast-charging gear to bring both sets of results. It is important to note that these iPhones charge slower than the rest of the field even with their included adapters.

In the second round of one hour of charging, The OnePlus 5T once again was on top, reaching 93 percent in 60 minutes. The LG V30 was second, at 86 percent, and the latest iPhones were on third place, though the iPhone X had the most capacity, at 81 percent.

So the overall results show, if filling up your phone fast is a top priority, the OnePlus 5T is on the top.
