While the Sony Xperia 1 is at the pre-order stage, its successor has also surfaced online in new renders. It will be Sony Xperia 2 and will be a compact flagship device. The first render of the phone reveals a sleek design and some important specs of the phone. Let’s check out the rumors of the phone one by one.
Sony Xperia 2 will be Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855
The phone will feature a 6.1-inch 4K OLED display with a tall 21:9 aspect ratio just like the Xperia 1. The dimensions are 158 x 68.3 x 8.3mm. Inside the phone will have the Snapdragon 855 processor with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. As it will come with Snapdragon 855, so it will be a 5G phone.
The back will come with a triple camera setup which is in the top left. Just like previous Sony phones, it will have a fingerprint sensor on the side.
The battery is expected to come in at 3,000mAh with 18W fast charging support. It’s nice to see that Sony is still going to be doing compact flagships going forward.
