SoundCloud GO+ Brings Discounted Subscription for Students

Now college and university students can now discover the world’s largest music and audio catalog on SoundCloud.  As the company has introduced a new deal for college and university students that will allow them to buy a subscription at half price. SoundCloud Go+ offers over 200 million original tracks, DJ sets, remixes and more with ad-free and offline listening, and high-quality audio.

The offer gives 50 percent off for the eligible students and making it only $4.99 a month. SoundCloud is a free service but in order to get premium perks available through SoundCloud Go+, customers would have to pay. Those who get the subscription with payment then they will get the services with some benefits like there will be no advertisements or previews and users will be able to save music for offline access. Normally, the cost of the subscription service is $9.99/month.

However, now SoundCloud has announced that students can now sign up for the Go+ service at a rate of $4.99/month. That is 50-percent less than the original cost. Well, with the 50% off offer, students will still get all the SoundCloud Go+ perks, just like regular subscribers are getting. That also includes exclusive content.

Once students get enrolled and being verified,  they will receive access for up to 12 months. They will still get the benefits if let’s suppose they leave school during that time period. However, these students will no longer be able to get the discount once its time to renew the subscription.
