During the tenancy of Pervez Musharraf the federal government signed a contract binding all mobile phone service providers to cover as a minimum 80 percent of rustic ranges of the country by 2010.
Companies still have to accomplish this objective. After the takeoff of the phone service, certain people of Yarkhun Lasht acknowledged MNA Shahzada Iftikhar Uddin.
Telenor is the second leading cellular operator in Pakistan having almost 37 million subscribers. Recently it launched 4G services. Before this, Zong and Warid (now merged with Mobilink) were the 4G operators in Pakistan.
No doubt, Pakistan is endorsing an incursion in technological progressions. This move of Telenor will also help people living in far flung areas connect to their dear ones. Hope so that the operator also maintains its quality, regardless of using it only for increasing the subscriber’s base.
