Twitter for Android and iOS is Testing a New Way to View User’s Profile
Though Twitter is lazy in launching big features like WhatsApp and Facebook it keeps on pushing minor features which no one notices. Just like that Twitter is testing a small feature that might be helpful for its users in the long run. So Twitter for Android and iOS will soon get this new feature.
Twitter for Android is Working on a Quick Peak Feature
Twitter is a feature that will display the profile when someone taps on the username in the main timeline of the app. For many, it would just be another feature but for people like me who have struggled hard and spent time on extracting someone’s information will understand the worth of this feature. As usernames are not enough to describe someone so this feature will be a blessing in disguise. Currently, when you want to see someone’s information, it will make you open the whole profile.
Right now this feature is being tested on iOS but according to the company, it will not leave Android users behind and they will also receive this feature.
Right now this feature is being tested on a small group of audience, but it will soon be rolling out to a wider audience.
We’re testing an easier way to check out profiles on iOS without leaving your timeline! Simply tap any @ handle in a Tweet, take a peek, follow, and get right back to it. Let us know what you think! pic.twitter.com/dIUFxI2r4C

Moreover, Twitter has begun blocking the apps and services that violate its API rules in order to increase the number of followers and unfollow requests. These type of apps allows users to follow a large number of users with the hope that in return they will also follow them back, and then unfollow those who don’t. These apps charge the fee from users and that’s how they make money.
