Xiaomi MI MIX Alpha offers Surround Screen

With the recent launch of Samsung Galaxy Fold, Xiaomi didn’t stay behind the stage but stepped ahead of the first foldable phone. Xiaomi has been known for its different quirky designs, however this time they planned to showcase something BIG and has revealed a new phone that may have come from its efforts to develop a Foldable Prototype. The all new Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is a masterpiece with all display phone.

Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha defines the ultimate class with an edge of ‘Surround Screen’ that literally wraps the entire body of the body, sound amazing? Yes, the Beijing based tech giant says that its unique screen-to-body ratio is 180.6% which means only top and bottom are not covered by the display screen. Since the phone is almost covered with the screen, it doesn’t have physical buttons other than the power button at the top. It has pressure sensitive sensor instead.Its other components are hidden underneath the display, as well, including the fingerprint reader and an acoustic technology that replaces the typical earpiece and speaker.

Performance

You will find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 + chipset, RAM 12 GB and storage 512 GB in Mi Mix Alpha. For all three major carriers in China, it already has 5G radio bands and comes with a 40W fast charging capacity 4,050mAh with battery.
