According to a statement issued by the Engineering Development Board (EDB), almost 32 well known engineering companies from Pakistan contributed in the world’s prevalent fair of industrial technologies, held in Germany’s Hannover city.
32 Companies from Pakistan Participated in Global Industrial Technology Fair
The avowal said that the Engineering Development Board organised Pakistan’s Pavilion at the event, after a span of six years, with the finance support offered by the Ministry of Commerce via Export Development Fund. Hannover Messe is world’s leading industrial fair that appeals promising professionals from all over the world.
The high profile occasion was inaugurated by US President Barrak Obama accompanied by German Chancellor Angela Markel. The fair’s status as a revolution platform for the international market place was visibly apparent from 2016 edition which was presented under the key note slogan of “Integrated Industry Discover Solutions.”
Pakistan Pavilion at the Trade Fair presented an extensive spectrum of products line of 32 top of the line Pakistani engineering companies in the Industrial Supply Category.
A group of 10 representatives from foremost Technical Universities and Industries were also convoying the delegation Bodies, a ten adherent delegation from Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industries also visited the Messe.
A motto of “Vibrant Pakistan” was selected with a theme of “One Nation One Vision”. It is relevant to indicate here that Pakistan restarted its group contribution after a gap of six year and its existence in the fairground was valued by the pertinent quarters.
The product the of Pakistan Exhibitors extended from Auto Parts and Components to Plastic injection Molded parts, Towing Parts, LED Lights, Rubber Hoses, Industrial Rubber Product, Precession Engineering Components, Cast and machined Parts, Fiber Reinforced Plastic Molded and many more products.
The Pakistani participants really appreciated the efforts offered by EDB for organizing this Trade Fair and providing them the platform to discover new avaenues. They also accredited the support delivered to them by the Commerce Minister Engineer Khurram Dastgir Khan for realizing the significance of such inputs.
The prospect for Pakistan’s deteriorating exports lies in profligate track progress of engineering division, said Tariq Ejaz. He further added that:
“We look forward to participate with high numbers of exhibitors next year.”
He also expressed his special thanks to the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for condescending the Engineering Business of Pakistan.
