Facebook Working on Camera App Similar to Snapchat
The Wall Street Journal reported, naming people acquainted with the matter that the social media giant Facebook is creating a stand-alone camera app to encourage its 1.6 billion users to create, and share, more photos and videos, resembling Snapchat’s vanishing photo app.

According to the report, the app being developed by Facebook’s “friend-sharing” group in London, is still in its initial phase and may never come to completion. The newspaper also reported that the tech giant Facebook is also designing a feature that permits a user to record video via the app to initiate live streaming. However, Facebook declined to comment on the report.
