The next iPhone launch is due in the fall of this year. iPhone 14 series will be having four variants namely iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. It is said that 14 Pro-models will differ from the non-Pro models.

Normally, all the variants of iPhone are powered same chipset, but this time it may not be the case. This decision may be due to the fact that there is a severe shortage of chips. This year the Pro models will be powered by the new A16 processor while iPhone 14 and 14Maxwill be powered by A15 Bionic chipset.

Till now the different variants had a few different specs from one another mostly in their camera section. This time the differences between the iPhone Pro and non pro series is a little more than just that.

The Pro models of iPhone 14 will be getting a pill shaped punch-hole instead if its infamous notch. With the new selfie setup Apple will be needing to come up with a new improved FaceID setup. This new feature might be exclusive to the Pro models and the iPhone 14 and iPhone Max may come with the notch design. The Pro models are also getting an upgrade in their selfie cams. The new selfie setup is coming with an auto-focus feature.

Apple has taken a big leap in upgrading their camera module, which again will be limited to the Pro-models. It is said that it will be a 48 MP for the Pros while the non-Pros will be getting the 12 MP with few other improvements.

This year Apple is bring the always-on display mode. It is not a new feature in the smartphone market but for its a first time for iPhones. The iPhone Pro models will be getting the always-on display and the non-Pro line may not.

The display sizes of the iPhone 14 variants will be 6.1-inch and 6.8-inch display for iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max respectively. The iPhone 14 Pro will be having a 6.7-inch display while the Pro Max will be getting 6.7-inch.

As most of the changes and upgrades are happening in the Pro-models so similarly their price is also upgraded. The iPhone 14 Pro is coming at $999 while the Pro Max at $1,199. The non-Pros prices are similar to the iPhone 13. The base model iPhone 14 is at $799. The iPhone 14 Max will have a price tag of $899.
