Huawei Android Alternative- Will People Like Sailfish OS fork?

Huawei US Ban will remain in the news until the Chinese tech giant stabilizes itself. The company is facing black days after President Donald Trump ordered a national emergency and asked all the American companies to stop any kind of trading with Huawei. As a result, Google, Intel, ARM, Wi-Fi Reliance and JEDEC cut ties with the Chinese mobile manufacturer. Well, as a result, Huawei started looking for alternatives. Though everyone knows that Huawei is working on its own operating system, HongMeng but till its launch, it needs another operating system to work its devices as Huawei Android Alternative. So the company is looking to incorporate Russian made Sailfish OS Fork.

Right now Huawei CEO is in talks with Russian Minister of digital development, Konstantin Noskov. Huawei CEO is also looking to moving the production of its products in Russia partially. Both countries will be producing chips and devices together.

Will Sailfish OS win Huawei users Trust?

Everyone knows Android and iOS OS, Sailfish OS is new for many. Sailfish OS is a Linux distribution developed by people behind  Nokia’s doomed MeeGo OS. Sailfish OS can be installed on the Sony Xperia X, XA2, XA2 Plus, and XA2 Ultra.

Well, I don’t think so that Huawei user will love the Sailfish OS interface as it seems like Microsoft.  However, there is one thing good in it: Privacy. It only collects that data from the users needed to run its services. Moreover, it does not sell your data to third-party apps.

SailFish OS is a good alternative until Huawei launches its own OS.
