Instagram Video Tagging Feature will Let You Tag Friends in Videos

Instagram keeps on launching new features to compete with its rival. Due to this reason, the app has got massive popularity in no time. Instagram is loved by people of all ages, unlike Snapchat whose target market is youth. Just recently Instagram made emoji selection easier for you. Yesterday the Facebook-owned company announced Instagram Video Tagging Feature,  lets users tag their friend in videos.

Instagram Video Tagging Feature: The most awaited feature is about to Arrive

This video tagging feature of Instagram is yet in the testing phase. When you tag someone in photos, the overlay on the image shows everyone who is tagged. In videos, you can tap a button that will take you to page listing in order to show the people tagged in the clip.

This is the best thing that videos do not appear to show up tagged users profiles just like images. However one should keep in mind that this tagging feature of Instagram videos is in the testing phase yet so anything could be changed until the feature is officially launched to everyone.

Right now only the small number of users have tried this test of video tagging feature. The tags are appearing on the app and not on the web according to Instagram.

Instagram gave the ability to post videos on the platform in 2013. It’s surprising that videos tags were not provided for this long time to Instagrammers. No doubt, Instagram is lifting its video feature as just recently in included its standalone IGTV app and video chat feature. Moreover letting people tag you in videos is the best among other features.
