Instagram Your Activity Feature will Now Tell You How Much Time you Spend on App

All tech giants are worried about your digital health. So they want you to cut off the time you spend on the social media platforms. Just recently Facebook was reported to working on a “time feature” that will let you know the amount of time you have wasted while using the app. Google also wants you to save your precious time especially the time you spend watching YouTube Videos with Youtube time feature. Now Instagram, tough is late, has launched “Instagram your Activity feature”  that will tell the total time wasted while using the app.

Instagram Rolling Out ‘Your Activity’ Feature Detailing Amount of Time Spent Using the App

This feature has come with the latest Android 9 pie update. Digitalwellbeingapp measure how often an Android device owner is using a particular app. On the other hand, iOS owners will have  ScreenTime app which alerts users about the amount of time spent.   Instagram has started rolling out an app called “Your Activity,” which also allows Instagram users to measure the amount of time they spend daily with the app.

It also allows them to temporarily stop push notifications from being sent out. Once your phone receives the Instagram update, you can access the feature by tapping on the hamburger menu found on the profile page at the top upper right corner. From there, look for “Your Activity.”

No doubt, nowadays people spend so much time on Facebook and Twitter which causes psychological damage to users. Instagram having millions of users, has taken the right step for the welfare of users.
