KPITB to Launch 4th Batch of KP Civic Innovation Fellowship

KPITB has partnered with Code for Pakistan and World Bank for the 4th batch of KP Civic Innovation Fellowship. KPITB to Launch 4th Batch of KP Civic Innovation Fellowship.

This fellowship program is a 6 month program which will be supported by Code for Pakistan, KP IT board and the world bank. In this program a team of talented researchers, designers, community organizers and developers to build Apps for improvement of government. These group of young people will inspire citizen engagement and will show how to innovate in public services.

KPITB to Launch 4th Batch of KP Civic Innovation Fellowship

These Apps will help solving a problems in a variety of public domains such as healthcare, crime, disaster management, citizen engagement, transportation, traffic, education etc.

Key Features of KP Civic Innovation Fellowship Program:

• Citizens and government working together, hand-in-hand, to solve problems
• Adopting user-centric, lean, and agile development methodologies
• Increasing civic engagement by creating innovative solutions in public services

During this program, the fellows will get stipend of Rs.30,000 for period of six months. A part from stipend, these fellows will also enjoy professional mentroship, free workplace, leadership development training. The best thing about this program will be that graduated students will be able to get experience to work with a government department which will in turn bring digital landscape of KP.
