The Nokia X6 was launched in China in May 2018. The Nokia 6.1 Plus is actually the global variant of Nokia X6 based on the Android One program. Apart from being an Android One device, all the specifications and design of this Nokia X6 Global variant are the same as the original Nokia X6. The one basic difference between the Nokia 6.1 Plus and the Nokia X6 was that there was only one RAM/storage variant. You could only purchase this phone with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. However, now, HMD Global has launched Nokia 6.1 Plus with 6GB RAM as well. Now, users can choose from 4GB or 6GB RAM.
Nokia 6.1 Plus with 6 GB RAM will cost around $260
The Nokia 6.1 Plus is powered by Snapdragon 636 SoC. At the time of launch, the phone came with Android 8.1 Oreo. Later on, it was updated to Android Pie last October. Moreover, the smartphone sports a 5.8-inch IPS LCD notched display that has an aspect ratio of 19:9 and a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. It features a dual-camera setup at the back that consists of 16 MP and 5 MP cameras. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 16 MP single snapper on the front. Furthermore, Nokia 6.1 Plus packs a 3,060 mAh battery and also come with a USB Type-C port.
Nokia 6.1 Plus with 6GB RAM is currently available in India. Moreover, it costs around $260 and is available in Blue and Black colors. The company has not revealed anything about the availability detail of this variant in other markets. But We hope that it will soon be available in other markets as well.
