Peekaboo Guru, developed by Fetch Sky technologies, regulated by Mehdi Hasan, is a location-based app. It acts as a business directory and displays all deals and concessions presented by businesses and contributing associates.

“We started working on Peekaboo in January this year and launched the beta version of the app in May.”

Said Shujaat Ameer, senior business manager at Fetch Sky.

The firm is looking forward to introduce the actual product on September 21.

How does the app work:

Users can login using their phone number or with their Google/Facebook account. When you login, on the home screen different tabs appear for different corporate sectors like food, lifestyle, entertainment and health etc. Consumers can look over explicit sections or choose all outlets open at any given moment. Each time a new deal is presented by a business, the app will direct a push notification to let you know.

Peekaboo also assists as a business directory, citing details concerning establishments, their branches, timings, contact particulars and contact information. Peekaboo is not restricted to Karachi only. It also covers other major cities comprising Lahore, Islamabad, Multan and Faisalabad.

Though, there’s no one accumulating the deals existing. That’s where Peekaboo is convenient, as it also displays the discounts available on using certain banks and cards. Deals and discounts presented by Bogo, Savyour and Vouch365 are also enclosed by Peekaboo.

One of the best things about Peekaboo Guru is that after you exit it, the app shuts down. This is in glaring disparity to many other apps that keep running in the background and crash on your smartphone’s memory.

Answering to how contented the company is with the performance of the app, Ameer alleged,

“No one can ever be satisfied with performance as we always want more. Although we are yet to start marketing aggressively, the app has already been downloaded over 10,000 times. So yeah, we’re fairly satisfied with how things going.”
