First 5G iPhone to Launch in 2020 with Intel's Modem


Many telecom companies are striving hard to introduce 5G network as early as possible. Similarly, many smartphone manufacturers have also started developing smartphones to use the high-speed 5G network. Many companies like Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi and OPPO etc are working to bring 5G enabled smartphone next year. But it seems like we can’t see 5G enable iPhone next year. As according to some reports, First 5G iPhone to Launch in 2020.

According to a new report by Fast Company, the first 5G iPhone will come in 2020. Also, the US magazine claims that Intel’s 10-nanometer 8161 modem chip will be exclusively used in the future lineup. Apple has utilized modems from both Qualcomm and Intel since 2016. But it looks Apple will use only Intel’s modem in future.

Not only the developed countries, many developing countries like Pakistan is also planning to bring 5G technology in the country. After the rapid success of 3G and 4G cellular services, 5G services in Pakistan are coming next year.

It will be a huge change if 5G services in Pakistan launches next year.  The 3G/4G subscribers in Pakistan are around 56 million with 75% teledensity.
