This feature has been launched just a few days before National Tell A Story Day. Truth be Told, is also a storytelling feature which is available on Google home devices form some years. But this new Google Assistant storytelling feature works on Android and iOS smartphones.

This feature is currently available in some countries including the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia, and India. The store will be told in English language only. In order to enjoy this feature, one needs to have the latest version of Google Play Books. Open that app and say, “Hey Google, tell me a story” to your Google Assistant-powered smartphone.

It will automatically be activated and you will be told stories like, “Let’s Be Firefighters!” (part of the Blaze and the Monster Machines series), “Robot Rampage” (starring those crude-but-rude Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), and many more.
