Google Maps Collaborates with Redbus to Assist Travelers

Now Google Maps would be able to assist travelers with inter-city bus transport information by this partnership. This partnership will be also helpful in the driving and train route statistics.

Krishnan Ramaswami, Senior Vice President, Products, Redbus said:

“The tie-up with Google Maps is a natural step towards organising information in the most meaningful way. We are confident that the practical use of this technology will also facilitate better trip planning resulting in greater convenience to travellers,”

Redbus is owned by an online travel company MakeMyTrip and is expanding its global presence with operations across Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Colombia and Peru.

This partnership of Google Maps and Redbus is going to be helpful for travelers who are planning a trip to a city, but they are not sure about the options of transport. Now, users can simply open the Google Maps on the desktop or on the mobile device and can search bus details for the route.
