Now DJs will Mix Songs Streaming from SoundCloud

According to the Soundcloud, DJs will stream and mix SoundCloud’s massive music catalog in real time within these programs. Normally, DJs download their content ahead of time and mix from that library of songs.

Trainor said in SoundCloud’s statement:

“Until recently, digital workflows for DJs were limited to downloads and physical media, but streaming workflows are the future. We are excited to partner with these leading companies to help DJs take their workflow to the next level.”

According to SoundCloud’s press release, users need a Go+ premium content subscription to create a DJ set. Subscribers of Go+ can access SoundCloud’s entire catalog, can sync music offline, skip ads, and listen with higher quality audio.
This is an amazing update and it will be interesting to see how this new DJ integration will disrupt electronic music. Its great to see that SoundCloud has taken an innovative step for DJs.
