Pepsi to Enter Smartphone Business with it’s First Android Phone P1

In today’s world of perplexed corporate branding decisions, Pepsi has confirmed plans to launch smartphones and a line of accessories in China in the coming months, Reuters reports.

Pepsi, yes the same brand that makes carbonated soft drinks, is all set to launch a smartphone in China named as Pepsi P1. This will definitely increase competition in the market as already there are many players in the market. The evident increase in smartphone indicates that the world is going to witness a new era of advancement with more connected devices through smart internet.

Pepsi will launch launch it’s first ever device P1 with little basic specifications that are already present in the market like a Mediatek MT6592 chipset and 2GB RAM.

Other specifications include a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 display, 16GB internal memory, 13 mega-pixel main camera, 5 mega-pixel front, and 3000mAh battery. The most exciting detail might be the fact that Pepsi have managed to get an Android 5.1 Lollipop build on to the MT6592 chipset. As these are the leaked images hence it is important to note that P1 may come with little bit changes.

Pepsi will unveil it’s P1 on 20th Oct, 2015 as reported by many technology websites.
