Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 Rumored to support 28W

Keeping in mind the growing demand of battery capacity, Qualcomm to launch its new Quick Charge 4.0 technology. It is said that Qualcomm will reveals its latest Snapdragon 830 with built in support for Quick Charge 4.0Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 Rumored to support 28W. Moreover, for comparison, Quick Charge 2.0 and 3.0 supported max charging rates of 18W.

If we talk about other companies’ charge technology, then Huawei Super Charge supports 22.5W while Oppo’s VOOC supports 20W. However, Google’s own Pixel phones support 18W only.

Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 chargers will support 5V/4.7A to 5.6A, or 9V/3A, or similar configurations. According to Qualcomm, this technology will optimize the charging process by intelligently identifies the maximum amount of power charged by your device battery. Moreover, it will also prevent the phone from overheating. It intelligently lower the charging energy if your phone’s battery starts heating up.

Qualcomm has also introduce a new voltage system called INOV (Intelligent Negotiation for Optimum Voltage). Quick Charge 4.0 will use this INOV technology. Some Rumors claimed that Qualcomm to introduce its latest Snapdragon 830 and Quick Charge 4.0 in early 2017.

Qualcomm recently has introduced First Gigabit 5G Modem X50. It is Qualcomm Technologies’ first 5G modem. Qualcomm guarantees that this device will help usher in a new generation of cellular services.
