With each day, Snapchat keep on introducing new feature to over pass its rival Instagram. Now Snapchat has made it much easier for its users to find perfect filters for their selfies. The filter App is using new technology named Object recognition system which identifies what is in the picture and provide the perfect filter for it. Snapchat Suggests new Filters with Object Recognition Feature.

It means if you have a dog and you pictured it, the Snapchat will identify it and will offer the filters which says “it’s pawty”. Picture of food will pick up a filter saying “What diet?”

The new object recognition feature rolled out last week but the full list is not disclosed yet. These filter will add more revenue to the company as Snapchat is loved for this.

The new object identification filters are already built in App. Right now if you want to search for objects or events in stories to find relevant snaps.

With such augmented reality feature, Snapchat is trying to wipe away other social media networks like Instagram and Facebook Messenger.

This object identification feature isn’t live for everyone. AR and object recognition is getting faster and more accurate. It’s good to see that Snapchat has incorporated this technology for users. One thing that seems certain, though, is that features like these will be used for ads and revenue generation.
