First of all the virus has hit India. Now the virus is spreading globally through the messaging app. Now the question is how do we know whether a file is corrupt or not. The answer is very simple. The malicious files are titled as “NDA-ranked-8th-toughest-College-in-the-world-to-get-into.xls” and “NIA-selection-order-.xls”.

If any one opened any of these files, the hackers get access to your phone and steal your personal details, PIN numbers and bank credential of the users. For your safety, experts recommend the users to install the anti-virus in your smartphones. Moreover, users should not install any unknown document in your phone.

Earlier, when WhatsApp introduced the video calling feature, the app was also hit by some malicious viruses. Beware of all such links and enjoy getting the benefits of technology in a safe and secure way.
