The widely used communication messenger WhatsApp has kept its trend of introducing interesting new features. It seems like that it is adding support for GIFs into its messaging app for windows phone. Exhibited by Aggiornamenti Lumia, the new WhatsApp private beta form comprises some rudimentary backing for GIF support.

The app update now underscores GIFs stored on the phone or SD card. However it discontinues just before stimulating them in either the chat pane or screening. Maybe WhatsApp may even add GIF search like Twitter, Telegram and GroupMe among others.

On the other hand, users who choose WhatsApp over Facebook Messenger would now be delighted that the app is adding new functionality to make conversations better for the parties involved.

WhatsApp, owned by Facebook; has more number of Active users as compared to Facebook Messenger. According to a study by Global Web Index, eight out of every 10 users using WhatsApp on daily basis. These newly introduced features will also help it to increase its users.
