iPhones are considered as most trusted and valuable phones and we call ourselves an expert in using and understanding iPhone but there are still many things that we don’t know about iPhones. Today I came up with something we notice every day in our iPhone, but we are still unable to figure it out.
Have you ever noticed that Why Is There A Tiny Black Hole Between Your iPhone Camera and Flash? What do you think about that hole? Is it a reset button or something else?
Why Is There A Tiny Black Hole Between Your iPhone Camera and Flash?
This hole is basically a microphone not for voice but for noise cancellation. The iphone 5 actually has three microphones, one at the bottom, one on the back and one at the front often hidden under the same grill for the phone speaker as its not active during normal phone conversation.
Why is there three microphones you can ask? the bottom and front ones are used to clearer sound. The one at the back though is basically when you call and speak people on your phone normally both microphones are active, the one at the bottom collects your voice as per normal, the one at the top collects all the background noise.
Unlike speakers which used powerful magnets and diaphragms to make pressure wave (sound) microphones use two different tech, Ribbon and condenser microphones, the Ribbon will be affected by magnets, the condenser isn’t, you will be glad to know that Apple uses condenser type mics in the phones.
